WELEkEAS, by Resolution No. 87-139, the Mayor and Common Council found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the formation of a landscaping maintenance district; and WHEREAS, by said kesolui_ion No. 87-139, the Mayor and Common Council formed an assessment. district. known as Assessment. District, No. 982 for the purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Piedmont Drive and Indian Canyon Court pursuant to the provisions of Ohapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino City riunicipal Oode; and WHEREAS, by Resolu-lion No. 87-114, the Mayor and Common Council declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 87-114 declared that an anuuai assessment shall be levied on all land within the district. to provide funding fur said landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and WHEkEAS, by Resolution No. 89-170, the Mayor and Common Council declared that: the public interest and necessity required the amendment of the boundaries of the District by expanding the boundaries thereof to include additional territory in the llistrict; and u~/1u/91 n?SOU':?'?CS APT~T,C ~ 9^, _ ASSi'si T:C'.". ,h•~•,,^~ n W7fEREAS, an Assessment troll has been prepared totaling $8,940.413 which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 982 for the fiscal ,year 1991- 92; NOW Tl[ERhFORE BE IT RESOhVED BY T11E MAYOR ANU COMMON COUNCIL OF Tf1E CI'T'Y OF SAN BERNARllINO .4S FOLLOWS: 1C 17 li 13 19 15 1C li 18 15 2C 2l 22 23 29 25 2C 2i 2E SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of land within Assessment. District No. 982 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 982 for the fiscal ,year 1991-92, designated as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments. SECTION 2.
