RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARIlINO DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
PROPERTY TAX REVENUES TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN AND AMONG THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AND THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, RESULTING FROM THE
JURISDICTIONAL CHANGE DESCRIBED BY LAFCO 2672, FOR THE AREA GENERALLY
LOCATED EAST OF WATERMAN AVENUE, BETWEEN 9TH STREET AND 6TH STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Recitals. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino hereby find and determine that:
A. Pursuant to Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, prior
10 to the issuance of a certificate of filing by the Locill Agency Formation
11 Executive Officer, the governing bodies of all local agencies whose service
12 area
service responsibilities will be altered

proposed

13 jurisdictional change will negotiate and determine by resolution the amount
14 of property tax revenues to be exchanged between and among such local
15 agencies.

B. Except as provided in Section 99.1 of the Revenue and Taxation
17 Code, in the event that a jurisdictional change would affect the service
18 area or service responsibility of one or more special districts, the Board
19 of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino shall, on behalf of the
20 district or districts, negotiate any exchange of property tax revenues.
21 C. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino and
22 the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino have determined the
23 amount of property tax revenues to be exchanged as a result of
24 jurisdictional change described by LAFC No. 2672.
25 SECTION 2. Implement'!1ion.
26 A. The negotiated exchange of property tax revenues between the
27 City of San Bernardino and the County of San Bernardino attached hereto as
28 Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference, resulting from the above

7 area or service responsihilities will be altered by the proposed
8 jurisdictional change shall be allocat.ed in the future years pursuant. to t.he
9 provisions of Section 98 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.

SECTION
3.
The Cit.y Clerk of the City of San Bernardino is
11 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and to cause a
12 certified copy to be sent to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency
13 Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino.
