RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING COSTS OF
ABATEMENTS AND IMPOSING LIENS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE
COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCES. (687 W. 9th St.,
108 W. 13th St., 2241 E. 20th St., 2271 E. 20th St., 1253 W.
24th St., 3231 & 3233 N. Acacia Ave., 1985 W. Baseline Ave.,
1923 W. Belleview, 1947 W. Be11eview, 3 parcels located
between 1923 & 1947 W. Be1leview, 771 N. "D" St., 1566 N. "D"
St., 1580 E. Date St., 2051 Dumbarton, 2073 Dumbarton, 236 W.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its
authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28
and other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance abatements
on the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set
forth. The last known owners of record as to each such parcel
are also specified in Exhibit "A".
Due notice was given to the person or persons having an
interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board
of Building Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the
costs of said abatement on said property. The Board of
Building Commissioners has entered its order determining the
costs to be reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the
land involved. Notice of the right to appeal to the Mayor and
Common Council has been issued to all affected property
holders. The Board of Building Commissioners now requests

2 that the Mayor and Common Council confirm the imposition of
3 the liens.

SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor
5 and Common Council for confirmation of the imposition of the
6 liens imposed, the following costs are found to have been duly
7 incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under said
8 provisions of the San Bernardino Municipal Code and the final
9 statements of costs on file with the City Clerk are hereby
10 confirmed and adopted as special assessments against the
11 properties listed in Exhibit "A" hereto.

SECTION 3.
If said sum is not fully paid to the City
13 Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after
14 mailing a notice to the person or persons having an interest
15 in said property informing said person or persons of the
16 adoption of this resolution as to any such individual parcel,
17 then said sum shall be and become a lien on said property
18 pursuant to said Municipal Code provisions and applicable laws
19 and shall be collected as a special assessment thereon.

SECTION 4.
In the event said sum is not paid as
21 hereinabove provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to
22 file a certified copy of this resolution with the Auditor of
23 the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing
24 that said sum be entered as lien charges against said property
25 as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
26 at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same
27 penal ties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general
28 taxes for the City of San Bernardino are collected.

The City Clerk shall present for recording appropriate
3 notices of the imposition of these liens with the County
4 Recorder.
