ESTABLISHING A BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICERS AND/OR EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS. . ."; AND PROVIDING INCENTIVE PAY FOR TRAINING DUTIES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Resolution No. 6429, section Seven, is hereby amended by adding thereto subsections (j) and (k) to read as follows: "section Seven, (j), Personnel in the P-2 Fire Salary classification of Arson Investigator, upon certification thereof by the Fire Chief to the Director of Personnel and to the Payroll Division, shall be paid an additional monthly incentive equal to the difference between the arithmetic average of the Paramedic/Firefighter salary and the arithmetic average of the Arson Investigator salary as surveyed and mutually agreed upon by the City and the Fire Safety representatives yearly as of August 1, per the provisions of 'Basic salary Schedule' of City Charter 186." "section Seven, (k), Personnel in the P-5 Fire classifications of Training Officer and Fire Marshal, 1 of 3 ~ 1 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6429 ENTITLED 2 IN PART "A RESOLUTION . . . ESTABLISHING A BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICERS AND/OR EMPLOYEES OF THE 3 POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS ."; AND PROVIDING INCENTIVE PAY FOR TRAINING DUTIES. 4 5 upon certification thereof by the Fire Chief to the Director 6 of Personnel and to the Payroll Division, shall be paid an 7 additional monthly incentive equal to the difference between 8 the arithmetic average of the Battalion Chief salary and the 9 arithmetic average of their respective salaries as surveyed 10 and mutually agreed upon by the City and the Fire Management 11 representatives yearly as of August 1, per the provisions of 12 'Basic Salary Schedule' of city Charter 186." 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 SECTION 2: This resolution shall be effective as of August 1, 1992.
