SAN BERNARDINO, GRANTING A QUITCLAIM DEED TO SCOTT RESEARCH
5 LABORATORIES, INC., FOR ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 148-022-04 PTN.,
THAT PORTION OF THE MUSCUPIABE RANCHO, SITUATED IN SECTION 29,
6 TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 4 WEST, SAN BERNARDINO MERIDIAN, IF SAID
LINES WERE EXTENDED ACROSS SAID RANCHO, AS PER PLAT RECORDED IN
7 BOOK 7 OF MAPS, PAGE 23, RECORDS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, CONSISTING OF 0.068 NET ACRES.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
9 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
10 SECTION ONE:
11 A. Scott Research Laboratories, Inc. is desirous of
12 acquiring a triangular piece of land adjacent to Medical Center
13 Drive consisting of 0.068 net acres, Assessor's Parcel Number 148-
14 022-04 Ptn.

B. This parcel has been determined to be excess to the
16 City of San Bernardino needs. The parcel lies south of the storm
17 drain easement and will straighten out property boundary lands.

SECTION TWO:
A. That the Mayor and Common Council hereby find and
determine that the grant of a Quitclaim Deed would benefit the
City.
B. The Mayor and Common Council further find and
determine that the consideration received in enhancing the Water
24 Department's domestic water system is greater than the property
25 rights the Department is giving up.
26 c. The Mayor and Common Council further find and
27 determine that the property being quitclaimed has a value of less
28 than $2,000.00.

1 SECTION THREE:
2 The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby
3 authorized and directed to execute said Quitclaim Deed to Scott
4 Research Laboratories, Inc., as set forth in Exhibit "1" attached
5 hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set
6 forth at length herein.
7 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly

That rortion of the Muscupiabe Rancho, situated in S"ction 29,
Township 1 Nortn, Ran~e 4 West, San B.rnardino Meridian, if said
lines were extended across said Rancho, as per plat' recorded in
Book 7 of Maps, Page 23, records of the County of San Bernardino,
State of California, being more particul ad y described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point along the South line of said Muscupiabe
Rancho bearing South 890 52' 55" East a distance of 772.90 feet
from the East line of Medical Center Drive (formerly Muscott
Street) being 82.50 feet in width, said point also being the
intersection of said South line with the centerline of that
certain drainage easement in favor of San Bernardino County Flood
Control District described in deed recorded July 9, 1954, in Book
3418, Page 383, Official Records of said County, hereinafter
referred to as Easement A; Thence continuing along said South
line South 890 52' 55" East a distance of 89.14 feet to an
intersection of said South line with the Southwesterly line of
Cajon Boulevard being 60 feet in width; Thence along said
Southwesterly line North 380 32' 32" West a distance of 73.68
feet to an intersection with the Northeasterly prolongation of a
line parallel with and 10 feet Northwesterly of, measured at
right angles from said centerline of Easement A; Thence along
said prolongation South 440 57' 30" West a distance of 81.14 feet
to said South line of the Muscupiabe Rancho; Thence along said
South line South 890 52' 55" East a distance of 14.10 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
