HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-415 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 92-415 3 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, GRANTING A QUITCLAIM DEED TO SCOTT RESEARCH 5 LABORATORIES, INC., FOR ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 148-022-04 PTN., THAT PORTION OF THE MUSCUPIABE RANCHO, SITUATED IN SECTION 29, 6 TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 4 WEST, SAN BERNARDINO MERIDIAN, IF SAID LINES WERE EXTENDED ACROSS SAID RANCHO, AS PER PLAT RECORDED IN 7 BOOK 7 OF MAPS, PAGE 23, RECORDS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, CONSISTING OF 0.068 NET ACRES. 8 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 9 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 10 SECTION ONE: 11 A. Scott Research Laboratories, Inc. is desirous of 12 acquiring a triangular piece of land adjacent to Medical Center 13 Drive consisting of 0.068 net acres, Assessor's Parcel Number 148- 14 022-04 Ptn. 15 B. This parcel has been determined to be excess to the 16 City of San Bernardino needs. The parcel lies south of the storm 17 drain easement and will straighten out property boundary lands. 18 19 20 21 22 23 SECTION TWO: A. That the Mayor and Common Council hereby find and determine that the grant of a Quitclaim Deed would benefit the City. B. The Mayor and Common Council further find and determine that the consideration received in enhancing the Water 24 Department's domestic water system is greater than the property 25 rights the Department is giving up. 26 c. The Mayor and Common Council further find and 27 determine that the property being quitclaimed has a value of less 28 than $2,000.00. 10/10/92 1 RESOLUTION GRANTING A QUITCLAIM DEED TO SCOTT RESEARCa LABORATORIES, INC.
