HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-269 1 RESOLUTION NO. ____~7-269 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1992-93 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESS~lENT DISTRICT NO. 981, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, MERIDIAN AND RANDALL AVENUE AREA. 3 4 5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 87-389, the ~'ayor and Common Coune i 1 6 found that lhe public interest, convenience, dnd necessit) required the 7 formation of a landscaping maintenance district; and 8 9 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No, 87-389, the rayrw dnd Common 10 11 Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 981 for the purpose of providing Idndscaping rnailltendllce ill the aced of Meridian 12 Avenue and Randall Avenue pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of tlw 13 San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and 14 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 87-365, the Mayor and COlOmon Council 15 declared that all the land included wi thin the boundar'ies of said dishict 16 will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and 17 18 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 87-365 declar-ecl that an annual 19 20 21 assessment shall be levied on all land within the distr'ict to provide funding for said landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; imd WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $ 15,405.11 22 which sets fodb the indi\'iclual assessments to be levipd U11 eM;h of the 23 pdrcels of land within Assessment District No. 981 for the fiscal year 199~- 24 93; 25 26 27 III III III 28 III 06/29/92 ~,"'::'~:, Y"""T'.ry\ :\l'~)~~'T,.'. Th.lt the Mayor and Common Counci I do hereby find and deter'mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 981 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll .~o. 981 tor the fiscal year ]992-93, designated as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments. SECTIOK 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of tbis Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be placed on the subject 1992-93 property tax bi lis for co II ection together with all other property tdxes.
