BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following fee schedule for dog licenses is hereby established. A. The license fee for each dog for a one year period shall be: Eighteen dollars for a dog not spayed or neutered. Nine dollars for a spayed or neutered dog. Five dollars for a spayed or neutered dog belonging to a resident who is 60 years of age or older. B. The license fee for each dog for a two year period shall be: Thirty four dollars for a dog not spayed or neutered. Fifteen dollars for a spayed or neutered dog. Ten dollars for a spayed or neutered dog belonging to a resident who is 60 years of age or older. C. The license fee for each dog for a three year period shall be: Forty eight dollars for a dog not spayed or neutered. Twenty three dollars for a spayed or neutered dog. Fifteen dollars for a spayed or neutered dog belonging to a resident who is 60 years of age or older. D. Two year license purchased: Eight dollars 2. 3. Three year license purchased: Twelve dollars E. A delinquency penalty of ten dollars shall be added to 7 the license fee for failure to license the dog as provided by 8 section 6.24.030 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code, except 9 residents over the age of 60 years old shall be exempt from the 10 penalties. 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 F. A fee of three dollars shall be charged for any additional tag issued to replace a lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged tag. G. A fee of three dollars shall be charged for the transfer of ownership of a licensed dog to a new owner in lieu of a fee for a new license for the remainder of the licensing year in which the transfer occurs. H. A fee of three dollars shall be charged for the transfer of a current license from another jurisdiction for the remainder of the licensing year. SECTION 2. The fee for any license purchased may be prorated so as to expire during the same month as the month the rabies vaccination was issued. SECTION 3.
