HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-151 ,. 04/22/92 1 RESOLUTION NO. _92~_____ 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE APPRAISER'S DETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF PROPERTY LOCATED NORTHERLY 3 OF KENDALL DRIVE (FOR ACQUISITION OF A PORTION OF THE PEPPER-LINDEN DRIVE EXTENSION) BETWEEN UNIVERSITY PARKWAY AND PINE AVENUE IN SAN BERNARDINO, 4 CALIFORNIA, AND CERTIFYING THE WORK OF THE APPRAISER. 5 WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino is contemplating the acquisi- 6 tion of real property located Northeasterly of Kendall Drive between 7 University Parkway and Pine Avenue, in the City of San Bernardino; and 8 WHEREAS, EVERETT E. McGREW and ALDaNA R. McGREW are the owners of 9 the lot and parcel of real property which is to be acquired; and 10 WHEREAS, the City desires to now acquire said property; and 11 WHEREAS, City has reviewed the Appraiser's determination of the 12 fair market value of the land and his report thereon; and 13 WHEREAS, the City intends to acquire said property with funds 14 provided by a developer in the area; 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO THAT: owned by SECTION 1. That said lot and parcel of real property EVERETT E. McGREW and ALDaNA R. McGREW, situated in the City of San Bernardino at 2358 Kendall Drive, is described as follows: Lot 15, Tract 2404, in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat thereof recorded in Book 34 of Maps, Pages 52 and 53, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. EXCEPTING therefrom that portion of said Lot 15 conveyed to the San Bernardino County Flood Control District by Deed recorded February 4, 1957, in Book 4147, Page 458, Official Records. 25 and is hereby determined, based upon the Appraiser's report submitted 26 herewith, to have a fair market value of Two Hundred Fourteen Thousand 27 Dollars ($214,000.00), and said amount is hereby established as the fair 28 market value for said property. 1 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FAIR MARKET VALUE: A PORTION OF PEPPER-LINDEN DRIVE 1 SECTION 2.
