6 WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino is contemplating the purchase of
7 portions of land located on the Northwest corner of 40th Street and Acre
8 Lane, in the City of San Bernardino for street widening purposes; and
9 WHEREAS, Margaret Mowatt Petersen is the owner of said parcel of land
10 described below; and
11 WHEREAS, on the 21st day of December, 1992, Resolution No. 92-403 was
12 adopted, determining the fair market value of $25,025.00 for this parcel;
13 and
14 WHEREAS, the City has determined that a lesser amount of right of way
15 is

now required for this project and has reviewed the Appraiser's
modified
determination of fair market value of the land and his report thereon, based
upon the reduced acquisition.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That said parcel of real property, or portions thereof is
described in full in the attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as though fully set forth in length.
SECTION 2. It is hereby determined, based upon the appraiser's report
submitted herewith, to have a fair market value of $23,298, and said
amount
is hereby established as fair market value for said parcel.
SECTION 3. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that the
work of the Appraiser, as modified, with respect to the parcel of real

6 Section 2 above and to do all things necessary the complete said
7 acquisition.

tract "A", as per plat thereof recorded in Book 21 of Maps, Page 6, records
