Meech, Purchasing Agent; Richard Morillo, Sr. Asst. City Attorney ---------------------------------------------------------------- At the September 7, 1993, Items 34 and 35 appeared on the Consent Calendar. Item #34 was pulled from the Consent Calendar and subsequently referred to Ways and Means. Item 35 was actually a companion item to #34; however, it was not pulled. Therefore, the Mayor and Council approved Resolution No. 93-328 awarding a Schedule 8 Addendum to Lease Purchase Agreement Number 108 to MLC Group INC. for the financing of two (2) each, street sweepers. It was not until after the Resolution numbers had been assigned that we realized that item 35 should have been continued along with item 34. We asked Mayor Minor to hold up signing the Resolution since it should not have been approved. When Item 34 (Resolution Awarding a Purchase Order to Nixon-Egli Equipment Company, etc.) is placed back on the agenda, its companion item also needs to be placed on the agenda with action to rescind Resolution No. 93-328 and approve a new Resolution to be compatible with action taken at the time Item 34 is approved. I trust this memo is clear; however, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. I am aSking Sandra Medina, Administrati ve Operations supervisor, to hold the Request for Council Action, dated July 15, 1993, from Dean R. Meech, Purchasing Agent, and which appeared as backup to items 34 and 35. We will hold the item until we receive a request to place the items back on the agenda. Rachel Clark city Clerk
