BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO A FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Ford Motor Credit company is the lowest and best responsible bidder for the financing of twenty-six (26) police patrol vehicles in accordance with Bid Specification F-94- 16 for the total amount of $529,788.56 at 5.53% interest payable semi-annual in advance over three (3) years; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue Schedule A-III addendum to Lease Purchase Agreement Number 33915 dated July 27,1992, Resolution 92-96, for said financing of twenty-six (26) police patrol vehicles to said lowest and best responsible bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a Schedule A-III Addendum to Lease Purchase Agreement Number 33915 by the Purchasing Agent; and all other quotations therefor are hereby rejected. SECTION 2.
