Home My WebLink About1994-157 , , 1 RESOLUTION NO, 94-l57 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1994-95 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO, 986, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, RIALTO AND 3 MACY AREA. 4 5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-214, the Mayor and Common Council found 6 that the pub1 ic interest, convenience, and necessity required the formation 7 of a landscaping maintenance district; and 8 9 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No, 89-214, the Mayor and Common Council 10 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 986 for the 11 purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Ria1to Avenue and 12 Macy Street pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino 13 City Municipal Code; dnd 14 15 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-143, the Mayor and Common Council de- 16 clared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will 17 be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and 18 19 WHEREAS, said Resolution No,89-143 declared that an annual assessment 20 shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for said 21 landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and 22 23 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $l7,860.52 which 24 sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of 25 land within Assessment District No. 986 for the fiscal year 1994-95; 26 III 27 III 28 05-31-94 1 , RESOLUTIO~ CONFIR~I~G THF 1994'ASSESS~ENT ROLL AD 986 94-157 1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 2 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 3 4 SECTION 1, That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and deter- 5 mine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of land 6 wi thin Assessment District No. 986 are correctly set forth on Assessment 7 Roll No. 986 for the fiscal year 1994-95, designated as Exhibit "A" and 8 attached hereto, and do hereby confirm said assessments, 9 10 SECTION 2.
