Home My WebLink About1995-262 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 1 2 3 4 5 RESOLUTION 95-262 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1995-96 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 959, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, PORTIONS OF KENDALL DRIVE, SHANDIN HILLS DRIVE, SHANDIN HILLS CIRCLE, AND OTHER VARIOUS STREETS AND LANDSCAPE EASEMENTS (SHANDIN HILLS AREA) AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 95-227. 6 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 84-448, the Mayor and Common 7 Council found that the public interest, convenience, and 8 necessity required the formation of a landscaping construction and maintenance district; and WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 84-448, the Mayor and Common Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 959 for the purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the Shandin Hills Area the pursuant to provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 84-335 the Mayor and Common Council declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 84-335 declared that an 21 annual assessment shall be levied on all land wi thin the 22 District to provide funding for said landscaping maintenance 23 and the administration thereof; and 24 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 95-227 was adopted on July 10, 25 1995, confirming 1995-96 Assessment Roll No. 959 Zone 1 in the 26 amount of $122,101.53; and 27 28 WHEREAS, the 1995-96 Assessment Roll No. 959 Zone 1 was recomputed for re-apportionment of assessments within the Rev. 07/17/95 ,------- 'I' , " ') ---.' i ' 19 20 RESOLUfION CONFIRMING 1995-96 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 959 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 95-227. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 District; and WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling $122,100.66 for Zone 1, which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 959 for the fiscal year 1995-96. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do h~reby find and determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 959 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 959 for the fiscal year 1995-96, designated as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, and dv hereby confirm said assessments. SECTION 2. Resolution No. 95-227 is hereby rescinded. SECTION 3.
