(Building Abatements) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28 and other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance abatements on the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth. The last known owners of record as each such parcel as also specified in Exhibit "A". Due notice was given to the person or persons having an interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board of Building Commissioners to hear protest and to assess the cost of said abatement on said property. The Board of Building commissioners has entered its order determining the cost to be reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the land involved. Notice of the right to appeal to the Mayor and Common Council has been issued to all affected property holders. The Board of Building Commissioners now requests that the Mayor and common Council confirm the imposition of the liens. SECTION 2. (Building Abatements) the San Bernardino Municipal Code and the final statements of cost on file with the City Clerk are hereby confirmed and adopted a special assessments against the properties listed in Exhibit "A' hereto. SECTION 3. If said sum is not fully paid to the cit Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino within five (5) days after mailin a notice to the person or persons having an interest in sai property informing said person or persons of the adoption of thi resolution as to any such individual parcel, then said sum shall b and become a lien on said property pursuant to said Municipal Cod provisions and applicable laws and shall be collected as a specia assessment thereon. SECTION 4. In the event said sum is not paid a hereinabove provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certified copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County 0 San Bernardino, State of California, directing that sum be entere 21 assessment rolls, to be collected at the same and in the sam as lien charges against said property as it appears on the curren 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 manner, subject to the same penalties and interest upo delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San Bernardin are collected.
