RESOLUTION NO. 96-279
2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO
3 AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH RITA CORONADO FOR
MENTORING COORDINATOR SERVICES.

WHEREAS, that certain Agreement for Professional Service was
approved by the City effective April 17, 1995, to provide
Mentoring Coordinator services, and
WHEREAS, said Agreement was amended to extend its terms on
March 18, 1996, and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend said Agreement to
expire instead at the end of the fiscal year, on June 30, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute that certain Amendment to Agreement between the City of
San Bernardino and Rita Coronado, in a form as attached hereto as
Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2.
The authorization to execute the above
referenced Agreement is rescinded if the parties to the Agreement
fail to execute it within sixty (60) days of the passage of this
resolution.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a joint regular meeting thereof, held on the
16th day of September

AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

by and between the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ("City") and RITA
CORONADO (n CONSULTANT") .
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into that certain
Agreement for Professional Services on April 17, 1995, to provide
Mentoring Coordinator services, and
WHEREAS, said Agreement as amended was to expire by its
terms on June 30, 1996, and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend said Agreement to
expire instead at the end of the fiscal year, on June 30, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Agreement entered into between the parties on April
17, 1995, to provide Mentor Coordinator Services which as amended
was to expire on June 30, 1996, is hereby amended to expire
instead on June 30, 1997.
2. Except as herein amended said Agreement shall remain in
force and effect and shall not be otherwise affected including,
without limitation, the maximum compensation provided for in
Section 4 of said Agreement.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
