RESOLUTION NO.
96-189
2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING CITY CLERK ADMINISTRATIVE FEES FOR
3 COSTS INCURRED ON ABATEMENTS OF PRIVATE PROPERTY, BUILDINGS,
ABANDONED VEHICLES AND WEEDS.

5 WHEREAS, Section 66018 of the Government Code requires the Mayor and Common
6 Council to hold a public hearing prior to adopting an ordinance, resolution, or other legislative
7 enactment adopting a new fee or approving an increase in an existing fee; and
8 WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Section 66018 of the California
9 Government Code;
10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
II OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
12 SECTION 1. Resolution No. 90-153 is hereby repealed in its entirety;
13 SECTION 2. A City Clerk administrative charge of $30.00 is hereby established when
14 the City of San Bernardino incurs costs pursuant to Sections 15.28.140, 15.28.150, 8.30.110 and
15 8.30.130 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code on private property and building abatements.
16 SECTION 3. A City Clerk administrative charge of $95.00 is hereby established when
I 7 the City of San Bernardino incurs costs pursuant to Sections 15.28.140, 15.28.150, 8.30.110 and
18 8.33.130 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code on private property and building abatements
19 resulting in a lien against the property.
20 SECTION 4. A City Clerk administrative charge of $32.00 is hereby established when
21 the City of San Bernardino incurs costs pursuant to Section 8.36.070 of the San Bernardino
22 Municipal Code on vehicle abatements resulting in a resolution confirming costs against the
23 property for the imposition of liens.
24 SECTION 5. A City Clerk administrative charge of $19.50 is hereby established when
25 the City of San Bernardino incurs costs pursuant to Section 8.27.100 of the San Bernardino
26 Municipal Code on weed abatements resulting in a resolution confirming costs against the property
27 for the imposition of liens.
28 SECTION 6. A City Clerk administrative charge of $10.00 is hereby established when

I the City of San Bernardino incurs costs pursuant to Sections 15.28.140, 15.28.150, 8.30.110,
2 8.30.1308.36.070 and 8.27.100 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code in responding to requests
3 for demand letters regarding the status of liens andlor abatement costs.
4 SECTION 7. A City Clerk administrative charge of $5.00 is hereby established when the
5 City of San Bernardino incurs costs in releasing liens imposed pursuant to Sections 15.28.140,
6 15.28.150, 8.30.110, 8.30.1308.36.070 and 8.27.100 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code.
7 SECTION 8. A City Clerk administrative charge of $20.00 is hereby established when
8 the City of San Bernardino incurs costs in providing a Duplicate Release of a lien that was
9 imposed pursuant to Sections 15.28.140, 15.28.150, 8.30.110, 8.30.130 8.36.070 and 8.27 .100
10 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code.
