HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-152 1 2 3 4 5 RESOLUTION NO. 96-152 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94-66 ENTITLED IN PART "RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND MODIFYING FEES FOR USE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES, INCLUDING PUBLIC PARKS..." BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 jeopardizing the activity or event planned for such use and that the activity or event will be of 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 Resolution No. 94-66, Section 5, Paragraphs I and J are amended as follows: I. The Mayor or his designee may exempt non-profit associations and corporations organized primarily for patriotic, civic betterment or charitable purpose or any local civic or charitable organization from the foregoing rates and fee schedule for the use of park and recreation buildings and facilities upon a finding that the fee would create a financial hardship unusual benefit to the residents of the City and should be supported with public funds. The word 'local' as used herein is defined to mean an organization whose membership is comprised of fifty-one percent (51 %) of city residents. J. As a condition of exemption, the association, corporation, organization or group seeking exemption may be required to perform services or provide labor beneficial to the City or its residents.
