96-86
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A FINANCING
CONTRACT TO FORD MOTOR CREDIT COMPANY FOR THE FINANCING OF FIFTEEN
(15) POLICE VEHICLES, TO BE UTILIZED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ford Motor Credit Company is the lowest and
best responsible bidder for the financing of fifteen (15) police
yehicles at a cost of $310,772.55 plus 5.10% interest. Pursuant
to this determination, the Purchasing Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to issue an addendum to Master Lease Purchase
Agreement, Number 33915 dated July 27, 1992, between Ford Motor
Credit company and the City of San Bernardino for said financing
of fifteen (15) police yehicles to said lowest and best
responsible bidder; said schedule shall be attached hereto and
incorporated herein as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. The authorization to execute the above referenced
Financing Contract is rescinded if the parties to the Agreement
fail to execute it within sixty (60) days of the passage of this
Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
