5 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM JACK RODOCKER AND DEE
6 ANN RODOCKER, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 226 WEST 11TH STREET, AND
DEDICATING THE PROPERTY FOR WATER DEPARTMENT USE.

8 WHEREAS, the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department is
9 involved in a project to cleanup groundwater contamination in the
10 Bunker Hill Basin, in particular, the Newmark Superfund Cleanup
11 Site; and
12 WHEREAS, a part of the cleanup involved developing a well
13 field to prevent the contaminants from migrating further in the
14 water basin; and
15 WHEREAS, the acquisition of 226 West 11th Street is necessary
16 for the placement of wells for this project.
17 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
18 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
19 SECTION ONE: The city of San Bernardino hereby accepts the
20 Grant Deed from Jack Rodocker and Dee Ann Rodocker, for property
21 known as 226 West 11th Street, as set forth in Exhibit "1" attached
22 hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set
23 forth at length herein.
24 SECTION TWO: That the property acquired herein is dedicated
25 for Water Department use.
26 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
