RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO, AWARDING A PURCHASE ORDER TO JOHNSON
EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF TWO
(2) FIRE COMMAND VEHICLES, TO BE UTILIZED BY THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IN ACCORDANCE
WITH BID SPECIFICATION F99-20.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCil OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOllOWS:
SECTION 1. That Johnson Equipment Company is the sole, lowest
and best responsible bidder for the furnishing of two (2) 1999 Fire Command
Vehicles in accordance with Bid Specification F99-20 in the amount of
$ 62,577,97 per vehicle, for a total NOT TO EXCEED $ 130,000,00; pursuant
to this determination, the Economic Development Agency, Finance Division is
hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said two (2)
Fire Command Vehicles, for said sole, lowest and best responsible bidder,
such award shall be effective upon issuance of a Purchase Order by the
Economic Development Agency, Finance Division; and no other quotations
were received.
SECTION 2. The authorization to execute the above referenced is
rescinded if it is not issued within sixty (60) days of the passage of this
resolution,
