RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM CHARLES W.
JENKINS AND BETTY J, JENKINS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1335 GARNER
AVENUE, SAN BERNARDINO, AND DEDICATING THE PROPERTY FOR WATER
DEPARTMENT USE.
WHEREAS, the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department is involved in a project
to clean up groundwater contamination in the Bunker Hill Basin, in particular the Muscoy
Operable Unit; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of 1335 Gamer Avenue, San Bernardino, is necessary for
the placement of wells for this project.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The City of San Bernardino hereby accepts the Grant Deed from
Charles W. Jenkins and Betty 1. Jenkins for property known as 1335 Gamer Avenue, San
Bernardino, as set forth in Exhibit ''I'' attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as
though fully set forth at length herein,
SECTION 2.
That the property acquired herein IS dedicated for Water
Department use.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a joint regu1flfeeting thereof, held
October , 1999, by the following vote, to wit:
