HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-224 1 RESOLUTION NO. 1999-224 2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM THE SECRETARY 3 OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1306 G STREET, SAN BERNARDINO, AND DEDICATING THE PROPERTY FOR 4 WATER DEPARTMENT USE. 5 WHEREAS, the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department is involved in a project 6 to clean up groundwater contamination in the Bunker Hill Basin, in particular the Muscoy 7 Operable Unit; and 8 WHEREAS, the acquisition of 1306 G Street, San Bernardino, is necessary for the 9 placement of wells for this project. 10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 11 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 12 SECTION I. The City of San Bernardino hereby accepts the Grant Deed from 13 the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for property known as 1306 G Street, San 14 Bernardino, as set forth in Exhibit" I" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as 15 though fully set forth at length herein. 16 SECTION 2. That the property acquired herein IS dedicated for Water 17 Department use. 18 I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING Resolution was duly adopted by the " . joint .
