HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-158 1 2 RESOLUTION NO: 1999-158 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THAT CERTAIN REAL 3 PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF MILL STREET, EAST OF THE 1-215 FREEWAY AND WEST OF "G" STREET TO ALL PRO BROADCASTING, INC. AND 4 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED. 5 WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino is the owner of certain real property generally 6 located north of Mill Street, east of the 1-215 Freeway and west of"G" Street in said City; and 7 8 WHEREAS, as set forth in Resolution No, 1999-125, adopted on June 7, 1999, the 9 Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino declared the intention to sell that 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 certain real property located north of Mill Street, east of the 1.215 Freeway and west of "G" Street in said City, more fully described therein; and WHEREAS, in said Resolution No. 1999-125, it was determined that the public interest and convenience require the sale of said real property; and WHEREAS, in said Resolution No. 1999-125, the fair market value of said real property was found and determined to be the amount of$1,500; and 17 18 of said real property, 19 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the July 7, 1999, relative to the proposed sale WHEREAS, said property was acquired from the San Bernardino County Flood Control 20 21 District and designated for Water Department use. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 22 OF SAN BERNARDINO, AS FOLLOWS: 23 24 SECTION 1, That the sale of that certain real property generally north of Mill Street, east 25 of the 1-215 Freeway and west of"G" Street in the City of San Bernardino, more fully described in a Quitclaim Deed to All Pro Broadcasting, Inc" a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 26 27 "A" and incorporated herein, is hereby approved in the amount of$1,500. 28 06/14/99 1999-158 RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF MILL STREET, EAST OF THE 1-215 FREEWAY AND WEST OF "G" STREET. 1 2 3 SECTION 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby authorized and 4 directed to execute on behalf of said City, a Quitclaim Deed for said property, a copy of which is 5 attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein, and a Purchase Agreement, a copy of 6 which is attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein. 7 8 SECTION 3. GRANTOR, upon payment from GRANTEE in the amount of $1500.00, shall deliver unto GRANTEE an executed Quitclaim Deed for that certain real property generally located north of Mill Street, east of the 1.215 Freeway and west of "G" Street, ("PROPERTY") commonly known as Assessor's Parcel Number 0136.151.26, more fully described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2. GRANTEE shall deliver unto GRANTOR, cash or certified funds in the amount of $1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars) as payment in full for the purchase of said PROPERTY. 3. GRANTOR is selling said PROPERTY to GRANTEE and GRANTEE accepts from GRANTOR said PROPERTY in an "as-is" condition, including the existence of any liens and encumbrances on said PROPERTY. 4. GRANTEE shall pay all recording fees and title fees, including but not limited to title insurance. 5. No obligation other than those set forth herein will be recognized.
