"
RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO, ESTABLISHING CERTAIN EMERGENCY
RESPONSE TIME STANDARDS CONTINGENT UPON THE
A V AILABILITY OF FUNDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following emergency response time standards are hereby
established, contingent upon the availability of funds, for the San Bernardino City
Fire Department:
1. Dispatch processing time shall be sixty seconds or less ninety percent of the
time.
2. Tumout time shall be sixty seconds or less ninety percent of the time.
3. Drive time from fire station locations to arrival at emergency incidents shall
be 5 minutes or less 90% of the time. This is the time interval from en route
of the closest apparatus that is dispatched until arrival at the emergency
incident.
