Article 1lI, Section I - Wages (Add following new paragraphs): Effective the following payroll after Council approval of the side letter, employees in the Mid- Management Unit will be adjusted from their current salary ranges and steps to the new ranges and steps as set forth in the Classification and Compensation Study. For implementation purpose only, step placement will be nearest dollar that provides a four percent (4%) salary adjustment using a one percent (I %) salary scale. The only exception would be an employee whose new range would not allow a four percent (4%) adjustment, in which case the employee would be placed at top step of the new range. Subsequent step increases based on current step increase dates, will revert to the current five percent (5%) increase within the assigned range, employees whose range will not support a five percent (5%) increase will receive less than five percent (5%).
