RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $42,166 FROM THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, MORONGO
BASIN HEALTH INITIATIVE FOR THE SENIOR COMPANION PROGRAM (SCP).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino hereby designates and
authorizes the submittal by the Director of Parks. Recreation and Community Services
Department of a grant in the amount $42,166 from the Community Foundation Morongo Basin
Health Initiative under the Senior Companion Program grant for the period of November 1,
2002 through October 31, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length.
