RESOLUTION NO. 2003-114
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
RENEWAL OF THE EXISTING MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR POLICE AND FIRE
MOBILE DATA COMPUTERS (MDCS) WITH MOTOROLA CORPORATION OF
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION I. That Motorola Corporation is a sole source provider of maintenance
services for the Mobile Data Computers (MDC's) used by the San Bernardino Police and Fire
Departments.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council authorize the Purchasing Manager
to issue a purchase order for $ 27,968.76 to Motorola, Corporation, of Riverside,
California for maintenance services. The Purchase Order shall reference the number of this
resolution and shall incorporate the terms and conditions of the existing maintenance contract,
which is on file in the City Clerk's Office. The Purchase Order shall read, "Police and Fire
Departments MDC MW520 Maintenance (141 MDC's) FY 2003/2004. Not to exceed
$27,968.76."
SECTION 3. The authorization to execute the above referenced agreement is rescinded
ifit is not executed within ninety (90) days of the passage ofthis resolution.
