HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-2531 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 171 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2004-253 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR UNCOLLECTED BUSINESS REGISTRATION FEES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority under San IBernardino Municipal Code Chapter 5.04.076 does hereby impose liens on the real property described as Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for uncollected business registration fees and all future fees and penalties. Due notice was given to the person or persons having an interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Mayor and Common Council to hear protests and to assess the fees imposed on said property. SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor and Common Council for confirmation of the imposition of the liens imposed, the following fees are found Ito have been uncollectible after proper notification to the property/business owner pursuant Ito proceedings under said provisions of the San Bernardino Municipal Code. The statements 211 lof fees on file with the City Clerk are hereby confirmed and adopted as special assessments (against the properties listed on Exhibit "A" here to. 2004-253 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12, 13 14 15 16 17 211 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR UNCOLLECTED BUSINESS REGISTRATION FEES. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing the said sum be entered as lien charges against said property as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San Bernardino are collected.
