HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-1281 2 4 RESOLUTION NO. 2004-128 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (2003-2008) FOR MEASURE "I" LOCAL EXPENDITURES. WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure "I" in her, 1989, authorizing San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San Into County Transportation Authority, to impose a one-half of one percent retail tions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the of San Bernardino; and, WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvements traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance 89-1 of the Authority; and, 11 WHEREAS, Expenditure Plans of the ordinance require each local jurisdiction receiving revenue from the tax to expend those funds pursuant to a Five-year Capital 12 Improvement Program and a Twenty -Year Transportation Plan adopted by resolution of the 13 local jurisdiction; and, WHEREAS, Expenditure Plans of the ordinance also require that each local jurisdiction 14 annually adopt and update the Five -Year Expenditure Plan, and 15 1 WHEREAS, the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program (2003-2008) for Measure " Local Expenditures was approved by Resolution No. 2003-263 on September 15, 2003, WHEREAS, this Amended Five -Year Capital Improvement Program (2003-2008) for isure "I" Local Expenditures is necessary to transfer $135,000 in Measure I funds from ect SSO4-30 "Hospitality Lane - Signal Modification and Street Improvement, Carnegie to Tippecanoe Avenue" to GB04-01 "Santa Fe Depot Rehabilitation and Restoration." 21IINOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Amendment No. One to the Five -Year Capital Improvement Program P), for Measure "I" Program of Local Expenditures, for 2003 through 2008, a copy of ch is attached hereto, marked Attachment "A" and incorporated herein as fully as though forth at length, is hereby adopted. SECTION 2.
