2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT
WITH OFFICE DEPOT FOR CITY-WIDE OFFICE SUPPLY PURCHASES FOR AN
4 ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIOD.

6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
7 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
8 SECTION 1. That Office Depot offers a competitive cooperative purchase master
9 agreement through US Communities, with the County of Los Angeles as lead agency, for
1011 office supplies and services purchases. The City of San Bernardino participates in this
11 agreement, whose initial contract period expired on 3/04/2004. The US
12
Communities/County of Los Angeles organization has entered into a one-year renewal
13
14 period with Office Depot to extend the contract through 3/04/2005. Pursuant to this
15 determination, the Purchasing Manager is hereby authorized to extend the "piggyback"
16 agreement to Office Depot through 3/04/2005, and issue annual purchase orders through
17 same date for the purchase of citywide office supplies. The annual purchase orders shall
18 incorporate by reference this Resolution No. 2004-90 . The subsequent renewal of the
19 annual purchase order is contingent upon approval of the city's annual budget.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a it. reg. meeting thereof, held
on the 5 th day of April , 2004, by the following vote, to wit:
