RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF SAN
BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER
TO CONSTRUCTION TESTING & ENGINEERING, INC TO PERFORM
PROFESSIONAL MATERIALS TESTING AND INSPECTION SERVICES
FOR THE VERDEMONT FIRE STATION #232
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Construction Testing & Engineering Inc. is the lowest responsive
Bidder for the materials testing and inspection professional services during the course of
construction of the Verdemont Fire Station #232 project in the City of San Bernardino.
The Purchasing Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order
which references this resolution to said Bidder in a total amount of $28,550.00, with a
contingency amount of $4,300.00.
SECTION 2. Any amendment or modification thereto shall not take effect or
become operative until fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be
obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution. No oral agreements,
amendments, modifications or waivers are intended or authorized and shall not be implied
from any act or course of conduct of any party. This resolution is rescinded if the
purchase order is not issued within sixty (60) days of the passage of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
5 Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a joint regular
6 meeting thereof, held on the 15 th day of March 2004, by the
