HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-0438 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 21 RESOLUTION NO. 2004-43 ZESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER TO SYNCHRONEX FOR FHE DELIVERY OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) TRAFFIC SIGNAL BATTERY BACKUP iYSTEMS IN AN AMOUNT OF $109,770.31. E IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN ERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Synchronex is a competent and reliable traffic signal material and of the five firms contacted by staff during the California Energy Commission's Backup Systems Program" bid process, provided the only responsive quote for the of Battery Backup Systems (BBS) hardware. Pursuant to this determination, the Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue a Purchase Order for twenty-five S units to said supplier for an amount of $109,770.31. This award shall only be effective upon issuance of a Purchase Order by the Purchasing Manager.
