2. Resolutions authorizing the Development Services Department to apply for and
administer a Community-based Transportation Planning Grant from Caltrans in
the amount of $250,000. (Cost to the City -- $25,000 match to be budgeted in
FY 05/06, if grant is awarded.)
A. Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino authorizing the Development Services Department to apply
for and administer a Community-based Transportation Planning Grant
from Caltrans in the amount of $250,000 to prepare the 1-210 Corridor
Enhancement Plan. (Resolution A was recommended for approval at
the Grants Committee meeting on September 28, 2004 - Committee
Members Present: McCammack and Estrada) (Backup material was
distributed on October 4,2004, Item No. 31.)
MOTION: That said resolution be adopted.

B. Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino authorizing the Development Services Department to apply
for and administer a Community-based Transportation Planning Grant
from Caltrans in the amount of $250,000 to prepare the West Side
Healthy Neighborhood Plan. (Resolution not available at time of
printing.)
MOTION: That full reading of the resolution be waived and that said
resolution be adopted.
3. Budget Amendment related to Resolution No. 2004-322 adopted at the Council
meeting on October 4, 2004. (Document not available at time of printing.)
MOTION: That the Director of Finance be authorized to amend the FY
2004-05 budget for the Public Improvement Fund (Fund 246) by
increasing the revenue budget in Account No. 246-000-4902 by
$5,500,000 and increasing the expenditure budget by $5,500,000
for capital improvement projects: Highland Avenue to Lynwood
Improvements ($1,226,100), Other Road Issues/Improvements
($581,000), Off Road Scope at Residential Areas ($2,767,800),
and Property Acquisition/Project Contingencies ($925,100).

MOTION: That the meeting be adjourned.
NOTE: The next joint regular meeting of the Mayor and Common
Council/Community Development Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.,
Monday, October 18, 2004, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 300 North
"D" Street, San Bernardino, California.
